So what’s the update all about? Honestly we think, this is the best iteration of Ovi store we have seen from Nokia. Looks like the folks at Nokia took a long look at the list of complaints reviewers and users kept throwing at them and finally took the time to iron them out before churning out their update for their app store. After all they are competing with iTunes App store and lest we sound raucous, we think the Ovi Store is ready for a head-on fight with Apple’s iTunes App store. Read more »

You have a number of AI (Artificial Intelligence) users already created in the game with different proficiency levels (Expert/Intermediate/Beginner). Playing with the AI users is just amazing and you can spend hours playing this game. The very first game i played on my mobile i spent an hour because it is really addictive when you don't wanna lose and play till your very last piece is gone. Speaking about the stability of the game and resource consumption, it is designed for Nokia 5800 and runs smoothly and never gets your phone stuck.

Fring is a mobile chat client which i believe everyone of us are aware of. We know about the capabilities that Fring adds to your mobile phone when it comes to communicating over a number of IM services. We can interact on Gtalk, Skype, Yahoo, Aim, MSN, ICQ, Twitter and Facebook with Fring using WiFi or the data connection. The latest version of Fring brings Video Calling over Fring/Skype which is amazing and Fring claims itself to be the only such application providing such a service.
To use the video calling service all that you need to do is just search for the Fring/Skype contact on Fring and choose Video Call from the calling options. The video call facility is available to 'Fring -> Skype' and 'Fring -> Fring' calls. I hope they bring out video calling over Yahoo, MSN and Gtalk also. So now you can video chat with your friends either from Fring or Skype on PC.

Browsing over this browser on Nokia 5800 was a fine experience. In terms of functionality, i would say it surpasses Opera. It has an inbuilt download manager which supports low speeds over the 2G network. The download manager allows you to save your download anywhere on the phone, something which is not available in Opera 10 Beta 2. It somehow restricts the download to the phone memory only.
So, what’s the thing with this Skyfire which made this browser win the “People’s Voice Best Mobile Application” in the 2009 Webby Awards? Well, we have already spilled the beans on this one-flash support and couple that with “blazing fast” browsing speeds and you have one gem of a browser for your mobile phones. Ok, so if it’s that good how does it fare on our 5800s? Hit the read button to find out. Read more »
