18 September 2009 – The Nokia 5530 is seen as the succeeding model to the 5800. In short, the 5530 is a slimmed down version of the 5800.
The key difference between both devices is that the 5530 does not come with the HSDPA / WCDMA 3.5G technologies which are found in the 5800. Almost all the other features are the same so it will come down to a decision of whether one wants a 3.5G phone or a non-3G phone. The difference is about 10% of the retail price.
