How many clicks does it take to command "Sit."?

Some dogs are trained to follow voice commands from their masters. Sit! Bark! Play dead! Other dogs are given commands via clicking sounds with the use of, what else, a clicker. The Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic phone has an application that work just like a dog clicker aptly known as “The Clicker”.

The bug that I am discussing in this post is a typical one and quite rare. You would actually encounter this bug if you have a lot of applications installed on your phone taking the count of the icons in your APPLICATIONS menu to about 35-40 which is less probable for a normal user. Since, I keep experimenting with my phone, its overloaded most of the time with a lot of applications. So, I would say I discovered this bug accidently.

Details

Scr000097

As you can see in the screenshot, the last row of icons gets hidden below the OPTIONS/BACK layer. This makes it really difficult to launch any application that is there in the last row. I would generally hold my finger/stylus on any of the visible icons and slide it to the last layer to access the hidden application shortcuts.

Which phones are affected?

This is common to Nokia 5800 phones which are still running the firmware older than the latest one. I guess the Nokia developers discovered this bug and later got it fixed in the latest firmware.
