NOKIA 5800 EXPRESS MUSIC

Good news: There is a new firmware update released for Nokia 5800 today. This latest firmware version is v31.0.101. The update is available via Nokia Software Updater (NSU) and Over-The-Air (OTA) for some product codes.

Bad News: The update is a minor one (like the previous update) with no big improvements and no official changelog. The update fixes few minor bugs and some speed improvement is also noticed. But of course, there is still no sign of the kinetic scrolling or widgetized homescreen. Check the product codes list below and see if the update is available for you. Read more »

Sudoku, the classic paper based game has been adapted on to our 5800s since long and guess what, it just got better, wait way better! Gameloft have released the updated version of best selling electronic Sudoku game- Platinum Sudoku to v2.

Sudoku as you may know consists of 9×9 grid made up of nine 3×3 matrices. The objective of the game is to fill in the grid such that each matrix has numerals 1-9, such that no numeral is repeated either within the matrix and along that respective row and column. Doesn’t that make up for an exciting puzzle? No wonder the puzzle has a huge fan following and is one of the most popular electronic games in the web today. Furtiv! What Furtiv? This is exactly the question that popped into our mind when we first heard about it from our friends over at AAS. Furtiv is a service which adds more artillery to the armor of Share Online and though the service is still in public beta, the lure of linking Share Online with some of the most popular networking services of facebook, twitter to name a few was more than that was needed for us to testride it on our 5800s.

Before we dwell into more details, we should highlight that this service from Furtiv is in direct competition with Pixelpipe, which we had earlier called a “gem of an application” when we reviewed it a couple of months ago.
