Nokia 5800 now has a free turn by turn navigation with voice and visual guidance across 70 countries. Of-course, this has come late but Nokia has finally kept our faith in it. Iphone was launched with free navigation and Google Maps already had a free version for Nokia 5800. With strict competition with other brands offering free navigation, this is a bold move from Nokia.The new Nokia Ovi Maps with free navigation has an online mode toowhich allows you to get your location without downloading the maps on the go. It works somewhat like Google Maps. There is a bad news for all those Nokia 5800 owners who have still not updated to the firmware version 31.0.008 or higher. The new Ovi Maps is compatible only with the latest firmware v31.0.008 or higher.
